Coverage
The Rush wireless network has been in operation since October of 2001 and currently covers the greater Hamilton area, as the demand for broadband grows the RUSH network will expand to cover the entire Waikato basin. To view current coverage please click on our coverage map.
Rush roaming
Rush Wireless Broadband currently has some of the most advanced wireless technology available, this technology allows users to roam the Rush network. This means that using your wireless enabled laptop you can use the same username and password you would normally use at home, to connect to another part of the Rush wireless network. If your laptop is not wireless enabled or your current wireless setup does not give you the range (distance from the transmitter) you require, take a look at the Rush roaming kit by clicking here.
Getting Connected
Getting connected is as easy as one phone call! Rush internet access utilises a powerful, locally based community transmitter. What this means is that unlike other wireless internet providers you do not have to have Line of Sight (LOS) to the Waikato Hospital, or even the CBD. There will more than likely be a local transmitter in, or near your suburb that will allow you to get connected.
So sign me up, NOW!
Option 1: Just give us a call! One of our sales staff will book you in for a Line of sight (LOS) test and thats it, we will do the rest.
Option 2: Click here to sign up now. Fill the form out and send it into us at: sales.info@rush.net.nz
Fax 07-958-0878 Rush Ltd, PO Box 5452, Frankton, Hamilton.
We will contact you within 48hrs to schedule a line of sight (LOS) test the cost of which is included in your installation fee. Should you decide not to go forward with your installation, LOS tests are charged at $60, they are free if you are unable to get LOS to our transmitter.

What is LOS
LOS is a requirement for connection to the network, line of site is being able to see the transmitter from your house or place of installation. Objects such as buildings, trees or other foliage distorts the signal picked up by your computer and makes your internets connection unreliable. In all instances Rush customers must have LOS to one of the many Rush transmitters. |
